RCM Festival of Percussion

Experience percussion as you’ve never experienced it before in the 10th anniversary of the Royal College of Music's Festival of Percussion! From cymbals to xylophones, timpani to tambourines, our festival features something for all to enjoy.

The 2022 Festival of Percussion took place on Sunday 8 May. This page is to give an idea of what you can expect at future Festivals of Percussion at the RCM.

We’re delighted to present a varied day of events and activities on Sunday 8 May, including private lessons, performances by Junior Ensembles, experienced professionals, and talented RCM musicians, an all-day trade fair, and interactive sessions with RCM Sparks.

Tickets are now on sale for our festival, with discounts available for under-35s. Attend our dynamic day events, come to our special Jazz Orchestra concert in the evening, or add both tickets to your online basket to enjoy a Whole Festival ticket discount! 

While you're at the College, we also invite you to visit our café for a snack or sandwich, enjoy the surroundings of our new outdoor courtyard, or pick up a souvenir from the RCM shop!
